Volunteers / Proefpersonen

These projects are looking for volunteers / De onderzoeksgroep zoekt proefpersonen voor onderstaan projecten:

What role do the two hemispheres play in making movements with one hand?

In this study, we want to deepen our understanding of how the brain controls voluntary movement. For this, we are using MRI scans to look at the brain activity associated with hand movements. This research can potentially benefit the development of Brain-Computer Interfaces.

You will be asked to come to the UMC Utrecht once for a scan. The visit will last about 2 hours, of which you will spend one hour in the 7-Tesla MRI scanner. You will receive around € 30 for participation plus travel reimbursement.

To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older, right-handed, and not pregnant. It is important that you do not have claustrophobia, any neurological conditions, and no metal in your body.
